‘Seven’ graduated in Design in São Paulo, Brazil and has been working for 10 years as Advertising creative, Art Director and Graphic Designer. In his world, the human rationale is increasingly undermined and irrationalised by images. On the solo show ‘Power and Pureness’, vanity and the search for perfection and aesthetic beauty are distorted, animalised and brutalised by hairs and forms.

People Become animals. Shadow and light, Heavy and Light, Power and Pureness. The images are composed by contrast. The more a man tries to escape his origins, the more he returns to his roots.
‘Conceived in London, my Brazilian parents returned to Rio de Janeiro 2 months before I was born.I was born in September 1975, and according to my mother, delivered as a very hairy little baby boy. As a child, growing up in Santos – São Paulo, drawing was always my favourite pastime. This love for drawing never left me, and as I grew, it too evolved and grew with me. It became part of my work and my daily life. And it is because of this work that I returned to London, 33 years after my birth. My return to London brought back my earliest memories created whilst I was still nuzzled in my mother’s womb. Images distorted by hair, amniotic fluid and placenta.
These images brought a distorted and hairy form of expression into the heart of my life.
I was reborn as ‘Seven’.’
