Exhibition: The Female Body as a Canvas – Julio Osorio (Colombia) Until August 31st

The Colombian born photographer based in London comes back with a very different project to his last published book titled Work play and no rest, which was about childhood in third world countries.

This time his work is focused on the beauty of the female body and using it as a canvas to express a concept of the many thoughts and inhibitions that western society have in the 21st century.”

There will be a DJ on the night and a bar open till 2AM.

Venue: THE LIBRARY, 235 UPPER ST, LONDON N1 1RU                                               (Open 5pm-1am / Sat & Sun from 12am-2am)

  1. karen definitely covers all the bases. this was informative and entertaining. body art is becoming more defined, precise, refined. i never imagined scarification could be so detailed and decorative. it really opened my eyes to the wide range in quality of work, of art, of technique, in all forms of body art, and what really qualifies as an awesome piece of art in this day and age. though i can still appreciate the roots, the old school stuff, and it gets its proper respect.
