Rise of the Planet of the Apes is a whole new take on the classic tale of apes living as humans. We are on planet earth and Will Rodman (James Franco) is heading up experiments into genetic engineering which will enhance brain function. When he does tests on apes, little does he realise what he is about to unleash. With the jump in their level of development, the apes rise up and decide to challenge the authority of the human race that is behind their elevation to highly organized entities. A chilling take on the Planet of the Apes legend.
