Exhibition – An Enchanted Eye, Photography by Eleanor Marriott : 12th Sept. – 6th Oct.

A solo exhibition of Cuban and Mexican photography by Eleanor Marriott at Canning House. The exhibition, entitled ‘An Enchanted Eye – Cuban, Mexican and Belizean Photography’, will run from 12 September to 6 October.  Other events are planned to coincide with the exhibition, including a seminar with Cuban actress Yuliet Cruz on 4 October and a Cuban film screening on 6 October.

Eleanor’s previous Canning House exhibition in 2009, ‘Cuba Libre,’ was so popular that it was extended by a month at Canning House’s request. Following further travels in Latin America, we are delighted to welcome her back to showcase her latest work.

Eleanor comments: “After travelling for two years I cannot think of a better reason to return to England than to share some of my visual memories of two inspirational neighbouring countries, at Canning House – the cultural home of Latin America in London.”

The exhibition will be open from 10AM to 4PM, Monday to Friday. There will be additional viewings on the following evenings:

Wednesday 14 September 4-9pm

Wednesday 5 October 4-9pm

Thursday 6 October 4-9pm (following a film screening of Habana Eva)
