Barranquilla Carnival w/ Cumbé : 18th February @ The Latin Corner, London

This 18th February, Barranquilla Carnival celebration in London plus Live music with Cumbé. Join us!

Latin Music & Tropical Food.

The Latin Corner 283 Camden Road, N7 0JN 7pm-1am

As said by one of Colombia’s most popular singer/songwriter, Carlos Vives, “New Orleans feels like Barranquilla”. These two sister cities have a strong carnival tradition, both grew up along major rivers, the Mississippi and Magdalena respectively and as such have vibrant, diverse communities that make their people, gastronomy and music so addictive!

The Latin Corner pays homage to these 2 incredible cities during Carnival time with live shows and traditional foods such as delicious Poboys from New Orleans, ribs in Jack Daniels sauce from neighbouring Tennesee and of course Carimañola cassava bites as well as Red Snapper & Coconut rice from Barranquilla and the surrounding Colombian Caribbean. Couple this with live music from one of London’s most amazing rootsy bands ‘Cumbe’, it’s bound to be an evening to remember.
