Latinos in London & Friends presents VIVA PERU! This 28 July / 2012 . Peru as a fiercely proud and independent nation that is famous for its love of fiestas, festivals and the carnival, it comes as little surprise that one of the biggest events in the calendar to this year will be celebrate Peru’s independence day in London to keep traditions and the rise of Peruvian culture in our hearts.

Live music and shows will be held outside in the afternoon by some of the most representative artists based in London.

10.30 pm : Live music by KANTI QENA & COLECTIVO PERUANO + ANDEAN BEATS + TRADITIONAL MUSIC FROM THE ANDES.
Including recognized musicians like:
Dante Concha “Amaru III”
Wilfredo Avalos “Antara”
Kieffer Santander “Manos Negras”
and more to be announced..

Bands will be Playing afro-peruvian and criollo music plus traditional Andean music joined by the best Peruvian artists based in London.

You will have the time to enjoy tunes of the best afro-peruvian music, waltz,chicha, tropical, amazonic, criollo, Marineras, Huaynos, festejos and more unique rythms from chabuca granda , Susana bacca, Gianmarco and Eva Ayllon to Grupo Nectar, Los Mirlos, Miki Gonzalez, Pepe Vasquez and more to create a peruvian atmosphere to all our Peruanos, Londoners and peru fans.
