II FESTIVAL ANDINO UK | 15 JULY, 2012 | 12:00 – 20:00 @ FINSBURY PARK

This is an special community FREE event this 15th July, 2012 from 12pm to 8pm to celebrate the II Festival Andino in London to protect our cultural heritage from Latin America with the andean communities and join forces with all latin american countries doing one celebration of traditional roots music and dance.


We aim to bring our offerings with dance, culture, art & music presented trough different acts remembering the cosmic powers of the Pachamama (Mother earth) and the positive energy of our ancestors accompanied by the most recognized musicians and artists from the andes and latin america based in London.

People from the Andean region, our sisters/brothers from other aboriginal communities from Latin America , as well as individuals and/or groups that recognize our identity and our rights as nations are invited to participate in this event. We open our hearts to all whose intentions are to have a peaceful world where we respect each other, we honour and respect our Mother Earth and we build bridges between our cultures.

The 1st Festival Andino UK started on 26 June of 2011 at Finbsury Park to celebrate the Inti Raymi festival and Amazonic – Andean new year organized by Vinicio Chafla & Kanti Qena, we visited last year with our radio show by special invitation by Kanti Qena to report to our followers . As Latinos in London our part is promote this II festival andino  and latin american culture inviting artists also to participate and the community to join this great occassion.  Thanks to the sponsor (Vinicio & Alex Chafla- PCS) and the group of artists we are meeting every wednesday since last few months (Kanti Qena, Rene, Cender, Vicente, Ivan) everyone is committed to do his own part of the festival also as a community and we wish all the best will happen and we hope you enjoy this day!

The Andes is the longest continental mountain range in the world. It is a continual range of highlands along the western coast of South America.
