An special free celebration with concert this 6th October at El Rincon Quiteño to celebrate in advance an Ecuadorian day as Independencia de Guayaquil (Guayaquil Independence Day). During October, the celebration of the Independence of Guayaquil features many artistic and cultural endeavors in city of Guayaquil, which is now called “The Pearl of the Pacific” and this saturday will be celebrated with live music accompanied by delicious food and drinks from latin america. The three Puente de la Vega brothers formed APU in 1983, touring Peru, Bolivia and Argentina before relocating to the UK in 1989, following a tour in ‘Incantation’. They have been joined by virtuoso contemporaries from Cusco’s College of Music in Peru like Kaliran who have played their traditional, Music of the Sacred Valley since childhood.
